Financial Literacy Educator | Wealthsimple Foundation

Supported numerous financial literacy workshops with community partners, as an educator and resource creator. Always ensuring the presentations are accessible and engaging, incorporating story telling and personal anecdotes to build trust and rapport with the audience.

Received the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award from the Wealthsimple Foundation for the work I’ve done creating and hosting personal finance workshops for the typically underserved and misrepresented.

UX Design skills

Designed aspects of the multi-step Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) onboarding process involving multiple interested parties. Reduced friction, improved feedback and added moments of personalization throughout the process in order to reduce drop-off, improve conversion and ultimately increase the number of Canada Learning Bond recipients.
Collaborated with the Foundation’s product manager, engineering manager and front-end developers early and often to validate feasibility of designs given time, resource and technical constraints.
